The Subway Me

Here's a character I drew whilst doing a project at university, I call him "The Subway Me"

Yes Sheriff! "The Return"

When the blog was first set up I uploaded a character I designed when being inspired by Tom Bancroft's book "Creating Characters With Personality" and named the post 'Yes Sheriff!', ill cut to the chase anyway I had a few hours spare and I managed to finally digital paint him so here he is. he looks a little scruffy in places but its not to bad considering its been bout 3 years since I last digitally painted.

I'm Back!

Wow has it really been that long since I have posted.

Anyway I'm back now all backdated work will be uploaded in the next couple of days and hopefully ill get back on track and post my latest pieces of work and continue from where I left off.

Robot Model

Wow, its been a while since I last posted on here, the main reason is that I have been trying to get all my work done for my final hand in, but never mind I'm here now.

Back to the model, my modelling lecture set us a task to build a robot or power armour out of modelling clay, me being me obviously chose the robot.

I started off with some silhouettes all of different shapes and sizes, I did just over 50, but here are a just a few of them.

I couldn't decide between all of these I pretty much liked them all so I made a mix of most of them and came up with this design.

After the long day of drawing him, it took me 2 weeks to model him out of modelling clay, and here is the model.

Random Robot Week 2

One of my lecturers said to me the other day that I should make the random robots on a weekly basis and upload them to here, and I thought why not? so this random robot I drew on the bus home from a hard day at university, it is really quite simple but I quite liked it, I drew it when I looked to my side waiting in traffic and I saw a guy walking along with a child by his side, I thought it would be great to make this connection to make with robots so here it is.

The "Jock"

I drew this with inspiration from Tom Bancroft's "Creating Characters With Personality" well the head anyway, I started out with the head making small changes each time and ended up with this guy, and just randomly decided to put the American styled top on him, and KABOOM! next minute I had created a "masterpiece".
